Hong Kong Exchange definition - finance
The holding company of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited, and the Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited. The stock exchange trades securities including equities, debts, unit trusts, exchange-traded funds, and warrants. HKEx went public in June 2000, when the securities and futures market were integrated. Its lead index is the Hang Seng Index.
