A former telecommunications analyst for Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney who was one of the superstar analysts during the stock market boom in the late 1990s, which was in part led by telecom. After the market crashed, however, federal investigators began focusing on how investment-banking revenues influenced his investment recommendations.
