growth company definition - finance
A
company that is known for its rapid earnings growth. Typically stocks of these
companies donÂ’t pay dividends, because management reinvests earnings to fuel
growth. Growth also refers to a style of investing that seeks out higher risk
companies that have strong growth prospects.
