Form 4 definition - finance
A
form that must be submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission when
stock is sold by a company director, a company officer, or an individual or
institution that owns 10 percent or more of a companyÂ’s stock. The form must be
filed within 10 days of the end of the month in which the ownership change
occurred. Also called Statement of Changes in Beneficial Ownership.
