A committee made up of experienced traders on futures, options, or stock exchanges. These committees have a variety of responsibilities, such as recommending changes to trading rules and monitoring compliance with them. The responsibilities of the floor committee varies from exchange to exchange. The floor committee also rules on trading disputes.
