flexible portfolio fund definition - finance
A mutual fund that seeks high total return by investing in common stock, bonds, and other debt and money-market securities. The portfolio may hold 100 percent of its funds in any one of these asset classes in order to maximize returns. Most funds invest only in large-cap equities or only in bonds. This type of fund can invest in everything.
