fast market

fast market definition - finance
A situation in open-outcry futures or options trading in which transactions occur so quickly that volume data and precise prices can’t be determined. Instead, the exchange lists volume as “fast” and shows a range of prices instead of citing a precise volume figure. See also open outcry.
