euro-zone definition - finance
The
group of countries that have adopted the euro. Typically this term is used in
conjunction with economic data that is now compiled for the 12 countries that
have adopted the euro. Those countries are Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany,
Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain.
