enterprise zone definition - finance
An
area identified by a city, county, or state government that makes a business
moving into the zone eligible for special tax considerations, financing,
special access to bids on government contracts, or other benefits from the
government. Governments create enterprise zones because they want to revitalize
depressed areas.
