Enronitis definition - finance
Nervousness over a company because of suspected accounting problems. The term was coined in the fourth quarter of 2001 after Enron Corp. collapsed and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy amid substantial financial irregularities that its auditor, Arthur Andersen, failed to detect.
