A qualified retirement plan that has tax advantages. An ESOP is are set up by the company and nearly all of its assets are invested in the employerÂ’s stock. The plan must include all full-time employees meeting minimum age and longevity requirements. Employees gradually become vested and receive their money when they leave the company.
