Electronic Communications Network definition - finance
A trading system that brings customer orders to the market but doesnÂ’t commit any capital. This system widely disseminates quotes to third parties. Price quotes are entered into the system by an exchange or over-the-counter market maker. Third parties buy or sell stocks.
