Dow Jones Utilities Index definition - finance
An index that tracks the share performance of 15 companies that are spread across the United States and represent the utilities sector as well as the industryÂ’s sub-sectors. Companies listed in the utilities index will be added and removed due to poor financial performance or a merger. The ticker symbol is DJU.
