donÂ’t know definition - finance
Also called DK, slang for “don’t know the trade,” a Wall Street phrase that is used when one party doesn’t have any knowledge of a trade or has received conflicting information from another trader. Sometimes brokers in an open-outcry trading pit may not recognize each other’s trades, especially in a volatile futures market.
