Cash
or other assets that are expected to be converted into cash, consumed, or sold
within one year or during the normal operating cycle of the business, whichever
is longer. Current assets are listed on the companyÂ’s balance sheet and include cash, accounts receivable, prepaid insurance,
and office supplies. Non-current assets are items such as land, buildings, and
office equipment.
