Stocks
of a commodity that have been inspected and found to meet the quality
requirements for commodities in order to fulfill the delivery requirements
specified by a futures exchange. When certified stocks are delivered, they must
be transported to one of half a dozen or so locations that the futures exchange
has specified as delivery warehouses.
