cash available for distribution

cash available for distribution definition - finance
A measure of a Real Estate Investment TrustÂ’s (REIT) ability to generate cash and distribute dividends to shareholders. Put another way, it is the amount of money left over after the bills are paid. Normal monthly expenses, non-cash items, and one-time expenditures are subtracted from the funds received from operations in order to determine how much cash is available for distribution.
