Asian option
Asian option definition - finance
A
specialized form of option whose payoff is connected to the average value of
the underlying security on specific dates. An Asian optionÂ’s strike price is

highest underlying security value (put option) over a period of time that ends
on the option expiration date. An Asian option is typically more expensive than
a regular option. Also called average rate option.
