• former: He has his core group of friends, former schoolmates or people he has met in the first years of his life.

• old: Would like to get in touch with old schoolmates.

• fellow: I was never as devious as him or would have been so nasty to a fellow schoolmate.

• young: The projection is of him and his young schoolmates - the class of '76, Chuckery Infant School.
