e-miNY futures - Investment & Finance Definition
A type of futures contracts offered by the New York Mercantile Exchange for its liquid crude oil and nat-ural gas futures contract. The contracts are 50 percent of the size of the standard futures contracts and are financially settled, versus being settled by delivering the physical commodities. E-miNY futures trade around the clock through electronic, after-hours exchanges such as the Chicago Mercantile Exchange’s GLOBEX electronic trading platform. They clear through the New York Mercantile Exchange clearinghouse.
