DevOps - Computer Definition
(DEVelopment OPerationS) The tighter relationship between the developers of applications and the IT department that tests and deploys them. DevOps is said to be the intersection of software engineering, quality assurance and operations. The term was coined in Ghent, Belgium in 2009 when the Devopsdays 2009 conference provided discussions on agile software development, Kanban, software deployment and related subjects.
