Cliff Stearns, R-FL, on May 8, 2002. On May 17, 2002, it was sent to the House
Committee on Energy and Commerce and to the Committee on International
Relations. On September 24, 2002, it was sent to the Subcommittee on Commerce,
Trade, and Consumer Protection. A hearing was then held in the House Commerce
Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade, and Consumer Protection. The bill was
reintroduced in the following two Congresses. The last reported action was a
referral to the Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection on
March 22, 2005.
