A full-featured Windows word processing program from IBM Lotus. It provides groupware features that allow documents to be created and edited collaboratively and also includes version control for tracking document updates. Word Pro was the successor to Ami Pro, developed by Samna Corporation, which was one of the first full-featured word processors for Windows. Word Pro is part of the Lotus application suite (see Lotus SmartSuite).
