WOLED
(White OLED) Refers to lighting made of organic LEDs. WOLEDs have the potential of obsoleting both incandescent and fluorescent bulbs while providing extraordinary flexibility in the design of lamps and lights. An incandescent bulb emits from 10 to 15 lumens per watt; fluorescent from 40 to 90 lumens. However, OLEDs broke the 100 lumens threshold in 2008 with a target of 150 lumens/watt expected in the future. See OLED.
