(WIRELESS High Definition) An in-room wireless technology from the WirelessHD consortium for transmitting uncompressed and lossless high-definition video and other media over short distances between TVs, PCs and handheld devices in the unlicensed 60 GHz frequency range. WirelessHD was initially targeted for audio/video (A/V) with data applications (laptops, printers, etc.) to follow.
