WinNuke
(WINdows NUKE) A program that would crash Windows 3.1 and Windows NT computers over the network by sending erroneous out-of-band data packets that Windows was unable to process. Subsequent versions of Windows corrected the weak error checking in the TCP/IP protocol. Also known as the "OOB bug." See out-of-band data.
