WiGig
(WIreless GIGabit) An in-room wireless technology from the Wireless Gigabit Alliance (WGA) for transmitting in the 60 GHz range with speeds up to 25 Gbps. Officially announced in May 2009, WiGig is similar in concept to WirelessHD; however, the first release of its specification is being designed to embrace all client types, including A/V equipment, network devices, PCs and handhelds.
