Warp Server

Warp Server definition - computer

The server version of OS/2 from IBM. Warp Server combined OS/2 and Lan Server into one package that was introduced in 1996. Warp Server was generally highly praised and well suited as a Lotus Notes server. Among other features, the journaling file system (JFS) in AIX was later added, and the product was renamed Warp Server for e-Business in 1999. See OS/2.
