VPIM
(Voice Profile for Internet Mail) A method for encoding voice mail messages as data so they can travel via the SMTP mail protocol over IP networks. VPIM uses MIME to encode messages in multiple parts, which are decoded by VPIM-compliant voice mail systems at the other end.
