VAXELN
A real-time operating system for VAXs from HP (via Digital and Compaq) that provided application development in Pascal and other languages. Tools for developing VAXELN applications ran under VMS, and system images of the resulting programs were downloaded into the target computers. After 22 years (1977-1999), the VAX platform reached end-of-life status, with support continued by HP through 2010. See VAX.
