UniSQL definition - computer

An earlier object-oriented DBMS from Korea Computer Communications, (KCOM, Ltd.), Seoul, Korea. Developed by Dr. Kim Won at UniSQL, Inc. in Austin, Texas in 1991, KCOM acquired the source code and sales rights in 1997. UniSQL/X was a relational and object-oriented DBMS for Unix servers that provided SQL and object access to the database. UniSQL/M added object-oriented capability to SQL Server, Oracle, Ingres and other relational DBMSs.
