Tera-Scale
An Intel research project for the development of future CPU chips that contain as many as 100 cores. Tera-Scale refers to the resulting teraFLOPS speeds of such chips and the terabytes of data they are capable of processing. A major design goal is an architecture that supports huge amounts of data processed in parallel. See Larrabee and teraFLOPS.
