(Transaction Architecture for the Management of INternet Objects) A native XML database from Software AG, Reston, VA (www.softwareagusa.com) for Windows NT/2000, Solaris and Linux. The first commercial native XML database, Tamino is based on its X-machine Web server and supports the XQL query language. Its X-node interface provides access to and from legacy databases.
