SuperNOS definition - computer

An advanced network operating system. Novell popularized this term for a future product intended to combine NetWare and UnixWare. However, in late 1995, Novell sold UnixWare to The Santa Cruz Operation (SCO), thus abandoning the SuperNOS project.
