SuiteSpot definition - computer

An earlier suite of programs used for building an Internet or intranet Web site from Netscape. It was based on Netscape's Enterprise Server Web server and ran on Windows NT and various Unix machines. SuiteSpot included Proxy Server, Compass Server (index and search), Calendar Server (scheduling), Messaging Server (e-mail), Collabra (discussions and newsgroups), Media Server (slide presentations with audio), Directory Server (LDAP directory) and Certificate Server (certificate authority).
