styled text
Formatted text. Styled text includes embedded tags for font changes, boldface, italics and other attributes as well as page layout such as indents and bullets. In an e-mail message, styled text typically refers to HTML coding, which provides formatting. Contrast with text e-mail. See style sheet and HTML e-mail.
