StoryServer definition - computer

An earlier Web server application platform from Vignette Corporation, Austin, TX (www.vignette.com) that was used to build portals, e-commerce and self-service sites. It included facilities for building and managing content, personalizing the experience for the user and integrating everything with new technologies as well as legacy and custom applications. StoryServer evolved into Vignette V7. See Vignette V7.
