stealth URL
A Web site that uses a domain name that attracts visitors because they misspelled the name of another site. Often a shield for pornographers or marginal businesses, stealth URLs confuse users who believe they are typing a legitimate domain name. Examples are found in yahhoo.com and whitehouse.com (instead of the genuine whitehouse.gov).
