Speedware definition - computer

A development system from Speedware Corporation, Montreal, Quebec (www.speedware.com) that created programs for the HP 3000, RS/6000 and AS/400. Applications also ran on DOS and Windows machines with runtime versions of Speedware for those platforms. In 2005, the company became a division of Activant Solutions, Inc.
