Shlaer-Mellor definition - computer

An object-oriented analysis and design method developed by Sally Shlaer and Stephen Mellor. The method is applied by partitioning the system into domains. Each domain is analyzed, and the analysis is verified by simulation. A translation method is specified, and the domain models are translated into the object-oriented architecture of the target system.
