SEEPROM
(Serial EEPROM) An EEPROM chip that uses a serial interface to the circuit board. Requiring only an 8-pin chip package rather than one with 24 or more for parallel EEPROM chips, SEEPROMs use less power and take up less space. See EEPROM.
