RenderMan interface definition - computer

A photorealistic image programming interface from Pixar Animation Studios, Inc., Emeryville, CA (www.pixar.com). It provides the interface from modeling programs to RenderMan-compliant rendering software, such as Pixar's own suite of artist's tools for Unix, Windows and Mac. Co-founded in 1986 by Steve Jobs, Pixar and Disney together are world renowned for their award-winning animation in movies such as "Toy Story," "A Bug's Life" and "Monsters, Inc."
