PowerSCSI definition - computer

Early software from Future Domain Corporation that accompanied its SCSI host adapters for PCs allowing them to control all SCSI peripherals. It translated the popular methods for accessing SCSI devices, including DOS's int 13, Windows FastDisk, ASPI and various CD-ROM methods into industry standard CAM, supported on its host adapter. In 1995, Adaptec, Inc. acquired Future Domain.
