popunder ad definition - computer

An advertisement that displays in a window beneath the current windows on screen when you visit a Web page or have the misfortune of having adware running in your computer. The popunder is considered less intrusive than the popup ad because you only see it when you close your application window. See popup ad, popup blocker and adware.
