Photo REt definition - computer

(PHOTO REalistic Technology) A technique in HP inkjet printers that produces a more realistic image by increasing the levels of color. Photo REt III delivers up to 29 drops of ink to each pixel, providing as many as 3,500 different colors per dot. Photo REt delivers better pictures without having to increase dpi resolution, which requires larger files that take more storage and print slower.
