(PC JunioR) IBM's first home computer introduced in 1983. It included a chiclet keyboard unsuitable for touch typing and was discontinued two years later, due to the lack of compelling software. Before its demise, IBM did add a better keyboard. It took another decade before the PC became widely used in the home.
