OFDMA
(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) A cellular air interface based on OFDM for multiple, simultaneous users. The multiuser capability is achieved by assigning each user a subset of OFDM subcarriers (see OFDM). Used in communications networks such as WiMAX and LTE, OFDMA is expected to provide air interfaces that are superior to CDMA and TDMA. See WiMAX, LTE, CDMA and TDMA.
