NewWave

NewWave definition - computer

An earlier object-oriented Windows shell from HP that integrated data and activated tasks. It allowed data from different applications to be merged into a compound document with hot links that automatically updated the document if a source file was changed. NewWave was used within HP, but never caught on outside.
