NetTop definition - computer

(1) An entry-level PC that generally costs less than $300. See netbook.

(2) A user workstation that provides multiple single-level security using off-the-shelf components. Specified by the National Security Agency (NSA), a NetTop runs under a secure version of Linux (see SELinux) with Windows running as a guest OS under VMware. See multiple single-level.
