Multiprise
A family of System/390 entry-level to medium-scale mainframes from IBM that use microprocessor-based CMOS technology. They house the control units, channels and hard disks in the same cabinet similar to midrange servers. The first Multiprise models were introduced in 1996. See IBM mainframes.
